Around the World in 8 1/2 Days By: Megan McDonald

This book is about a girl named Judy Moody who meets a girl named Amy Namey. When she first meets her, she doesn’t like her at all because everyone said that they are  just alike. Her two best friends, Frank and Rocky, do like Amy Namey, and Judy gets upset. Then Judy starts to talk to Amy and finds out that they have a lot in common, so they become friends. Now Frank and Rocky don’t like Amy, so Judy has to choose between Frank and Rocky or Amy Namey. Everyone should read this book; it is an easy read and a good book!

The Case of the One-Eyed Killer Stud Horse By: John R. Erickson

This was a very good book. I used to always read the Hank the Cowdog books, but it’s been forever since I have read one. This one has to be my favorite by him. It is an action packed book about how Hank has to try to get the One-Eyed killer stud horse off his farm,while trying to rescue his owner’s cousins from the horse. Read this book to see what happens!!!

The Lightning Thief

The Lightning Thief is a fiction Greek Mythology book. The main character is Percy Jackson. Percy is a demigod. His mom is Sally Jackson, and his dad is Poseidon. Percy goes to Half-Blood Hill (which is a camp for demigods) which where he would train for quests. The Lightning Thief is a story that tells the adventures of Percy Jackson’s quest.

The Wednesday Wars

The Wednesday Wars is a book about a boy named Holling Hoodhood who has to deal with the life of being in the 7th grade during 1967. Holling thinks his teacher hates him. In the end it turns out that she was actually trying to help him by teaching him Shakespeare.

The Wedding

THE WEDDING is about an older couple who haven’t had a good relationship since their kids left.

 Jane is married to Wilson. Wilson had never been to a church when he was raised, so they got married outside of a court house. It was Jane’s dream to be married in church and everything turn out wonderful, but things don’t always go as planned. Wilson goes to Jane’s down-to-earth kind of guy father and asks him for some advice.  Wilson then later on, comes to the realization that Jane may no longer be in love with him…

 Read this book to find out if Wilson will save their relationship or have to give up love with his wife.

Hank The Cowdog: The Case of the Car- Barkaholic Dog

This book is about Hank trying to save his sister and her childern from Rambo the great dane…… And while trying to save his family, he will make a lot of sacrifices in his own life……… will he be ok???? Read it to find out……..

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw

This book was the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book I have read which is weird since this is the last book….. lol but this book was pretty good. The whole thing revolved around Greg (wimpy kid), and it’s about how he likes this girl and triys to talk to her, but it never works out how he plans it to go. The bullies at his school tease him…………. But he does some really embarassing stuff in this book…… I might just have to read the rest of them lol……!☺

Dovey Coe

DOVEY COE is about a twelve-year-old girl who is practically a tomboy. She lives in Indian Creek in the mountains of North Carolina. Dovey has a little problem when it comes to keeping her mouth shut. She is really close to her older brother, Angus, who is deaf. Angus has two dogs that were given to him to protect him- Tom and Huck. She also has a sister that’s older than both Dovey and Angus, Caroline, who catches all men’s attention and wishes to become a teacher. But the boy that hopes to marry Caroline one day is Parnell Caraway. Dovey does her best to do whatever she can to take his eyes off of her sister.

 I will have to say that DOVEY COE is a really great book. I recommend this to those who like suspense and sad books. Read this book to find out if Dovey’s plan works or if she gets into trouble that will cause hearts to skip a beat…

A Bend in the Road By: Nicholas Sparks

This is the only Nicholas Sparks book I haven’t cried in, though it just might be my favorite by him. Usually in the end of his books, somebody dies or something and it makes you cry. This book had a very very happy ending to it. Everyone should read it. It’s about a policeman named Miles whose wife died in a hit- and- run. He eventually gets over her death and meets a woman named Sarah, who is also his son’s teacher. They fall in love, but later on find out a terrible secret that could possibly break them apart. To find out what it is, you have to read the book!!
